STRENGTH
WHAT CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?
Ideally take 3 classes/week. Take classes in each category for the ultimate results and most balanced results.
ALL LEVELS: Suitable for everyone! Those new to the studio, to experienced CarmelBarre folks.
LEVEL 2: Class moves at a more rapid pace. Please have a minimum of 10 CarmelBarre all-levels classes under your belt before attending this.
AMAZING ASS(ETS)
ALL LEVELS: Signature Barre is our foundational practice - we recommend every CarmelBarre student take it regularly! In this energizing, functional fitness, all-levels class, you’ll experience low impact precision movements inspired by ballet principles, coupled with familiar exercises (squats, push-ups, planks) that work your legs, thighs, glutes and arms. Using light props like hand weights and bands, this class will challenge and build your stabilizer and accessory muscles, while working those core muscles in a way that delivers quick results to students at every level.
BABE GAINS: BODY & BANDS
ALL LEVELS: Join CB for 45-minutes of strengthening using bands and body weight with a focus on glutes and core. Continue to mix things up! All levels welcome. Bring water and grip socks (for purchase in the studio if needed).
CB BOOTCAMP
LEVEL 2: Hello CarmelBarre Bootcamp! Don't let the name scare you! This is your one stop shop class -- a gentler version of a traditional bootcamp. We'll combine strength moves with modifiable cardio and stretching to balance the body and keep you feeling strong, challenged and the body guessing! All levels welcome. Bring water and grip socks.
EMBODIED PILATES
ALL LEVELS: : A weekly journey to finding more freedom, strength and ease through Pilates, somatic exploration, and free movement. Breathe deeply, drop in, and have some fun while exploring your relationship with gravity. Some days we play with props like bands, balls, foam rollers or the magic circle. Other days it's just you and the mat, simply and freely.

STRETCH
GENTLE YOGA
ALL LEVELS: Reap the benefits of yoga - slow it down, learn the body mechanics -- yes yoga is accessible to all! Join us for Yoga: Level 1. Class will begin with a meditation and warm-ups, followed by standing poses, forward bends and twists.
Please bring your supplies - yoga mat, blocks and/or strap as needed.
STRETCH OUT
ALL LEVELS: Want to grow your flexibility, range of motion, and minimize your risk of injury? We’ve got the class for you and the name says it all… spend 45 min tending to your body and muscles. Low impact, high reward.
All levels. Please bring a mat and anything else to make yourself comfortable during class.
YIN YOGA
ALL LEVELS: Yin Yoga is an all-level class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine and is suitable to all levels of students through extended holds of postures. Expect to hold shapes from 3-5 minutes with some gentle movement in between. This is a practice of stillness that can challenge the mind and prepare you for meditation.
This is a great class for beginners or advance students looking for a restful class that focuses on restoring flexibility and/or working deeply into joints and tissues that are “locked up” from past injuries or from repetitive motion.
YOGA FLOW
ALL LEVELS: Slow down and breathe! Reap the benefits of yoga and stretch - counter-balancing your other workouts. Class will take you through warm-ups, standing poses, forward bends and gentle twists. Modifiable to all. Every level welcome.Please bring a yoga mat, water and anything else you may want to keep you comfortable during class.
CARDIO
CARDIO BARRE
LEVEL 2: An upbeat high-energy Barre class that combines traditional lightweight Barre exercises with non-stop fat-burning fun and easy to learn movements! Great for all levels and modifiable for everyone!
ROOTS
LEVEL 2: Focus on the root foundation of your workout! Join CarmelBarre for a 45-minute class that uses heavier weights, ankle and wrist weights and multiple props to challenge your body and mind. Throughout class, spend a longer, more focused time in each exercise, maximizing your results and challenging you to "stay present" during the burn. Class will work every aspect of your body - core strength, stability, flexibility, cardio conditioning. End class with a quiet moment to ready you for the rest of your day. You will feel strong, confident and empowered! Great for all levels. Modifiable for everyone.
Please note! The studio will be heated. Working out in the heat provides many benefits - sweat encourages the body to release toxins and improves skin elasticity and tone. Heat also keeps the muscles warm, ready to move and adaptable.
Bring ankle/wrist weights, water and grip socks (all can be purchase at the studio).
SCULPT FLOW
LEVEL 2: Boost your metabolism in 45-minutes, while building lean muscle with this upbeat class! Using a combination of light weights and yoga flow, this class incorporates strength training, cardio, and flexibility to help build muscle endurance.
Please note! The studio will be heated. Working out in the heat provides many benefits - sweat encourages the body to release toxins and improves skin elasticity and tone. Heat also keeps the muscles warm, ready to move and adaptable.

CIRCUIT BOUNCE

When attending class, please bring:
Optional, CLEAN, INDOOR exercise shoes, water, mat, sweat towel (yes, you will sweat!) Limited class size keeps you safe and your instructor in tune with your workout.
