STRENGTH

WHAT CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?

Ideally take 3 classes/week. Take classes in each category for the ultimate results and most balanced results.

ALL LEVELS: Suitable for everyone! Those new to the studio, to experienced CarmelBarre folks.

LEVEL 2: Class moves at a more rapid pace. Please have a minimum of 10 CarmelBarre all-levels classes under your belt before attending this.

BARRE

ALL LEVELS: Signature Barre is our foundational practice - we recommend every CarmelBarre student take it regularly! In this energizing, all-levels class, you’ll experience low impact precision movements inspired by ballet, coupled with familiar exercises (squats, push-ups, planks) that work your legs, thighs, glutes and arms. Using light props like hand weights and stretchy bands, this class will challenge and build your stabilizer and accessory muscles while working those core muscles in a way that delivers quick results to students at every level. Bring water, a mat and grip socks!

BALLET FIT

ALL LEVELS: Inspired by a dancer's daily training, every exercise, stretch and movement Ballet Fit is designed to build strength, grace and flexibility. Targeted toning, barre and cardio exercises sculpt sleek powerful ballet muscles, dance experience not required. During a ballet fitness class, each ballet move is always completed equally on both sides. Repeating ballet moves and recalling different patterns, not only improves muscle symmetry in the legs, arms and core but also acts as a mental exercise.

CB BOOTCAMP

LEVEL 2: Hello CarmelBarre Bootcamp! Don't let the name scare you! This is your one stop shop class -- a gentler version of a traditional bootcamp. We'll combine strength moves with modifiable cardio and stretching to balance the body and keep you feeling strong, challenged and the body guessing! All levels welcome. Bring water and grip socks.

STRETCH

GENTLE YOGA

ALL LEVELS: Reap the benefits of yoga - slow it down, learn the body mechanics -- yes yoga is accessible to all! Join us for Yoga: Level 1. Class will begin with a meditation and warm-ups, followed by standing poses, forward bends and twists.

Please bring your supplies - yoga mat, blocks and/or strap as needed.

STRETCH OUT

ALL LEVELS: Want to grow your flexibility, range of motion, and minimize your risk of injury? We’ve got the class for you and the name says it all… spend 45 min tending to your body and muscles. Low impact, high reward.

All levels. Please bring a mat and anything else to make yourself comfortable during class.

CARDIO

CARDIO BARRE

LEVEL 2: An upbeat high-energy Barre class that combines traditional lightweight Barre exercises with non-stop fat-burning fun and easy to learn movements! Great for all levels and modifiable for everyone!

ROOTS

LEVEL 2: Focus on the root foundation of your workout! Join CarmelBarre for a 45-minute class that uses heavier weights, ankle and wrist weights and multiple props to challenge your body and mind. Throughout class, spend a longer, more focused time in each exercise, maximizing your results and challenging you to "stay present" during the burn. Class will work every aspect of your body - core strength, stability, flexibility, cardio conditioning. End class with a quiet moment to ready you for the rest of your day. You will feel strong, confident and empowered! Great for all levels. Modifiable for everyone.

Please note! The studio will be heated. Working out in the heat provides many benefits - sweat encourages the body to release toxins and improves skin elasticity and tone. Heat also keeps the muscles warm, ready to move and adaptable.

Bring ankle/wrist weights, water and grip socks (all can be purchase at the studio).

SCULPT FLOW

LEVEL 2: Boost your metabolism in 45-minutes, while building lean muscle with this upbeat class! Using a combination of light weights and yoga flow, this class incorporates strength training, cardio, and flexibility to help build muscle endurance.

Please note! The studio will be heated. Working out in the heat provides many benefits - sweat encourages the body to release toxins and improves skin elasticity and tone. Heat also keeps the muscles warm, ready to move and adaptable.

Bring ankle/wrist weights, water and grip socks (all can be purchase at the studio).

BOUNCE

CIRCUIT BOUNCE

ALL LEVELS

The most FUN workout you’ve NEVER done!

Why Bounce? Because it's FUN! And because it offers MANY benefits to your body, health and wellness routine.

When attending class, please bring:

Optional, CLEAN, INDOOR exercise shoes, water, mat, sweat towel (yes, you will sweat!) Limited class size keeps you safe and your instructor in tune with your workout.
