100 Hours at the Barre!

Meet Melyssa, one of our diehard CarmelBarre clients who just hit 100 classes at CarmelBarre!♥️

Despite the unstable COVID times we are in - restrictions, shutdowns, limitations and uncertainty - Melyssa has powered through and stayed consistent attending class after class, week after week! 💪🏻

We LOVE Melyssa’s determination, bright smile, willingness to try new classes and new things 0 thank you for supporting our small studio and being a part of our local community!!! 🥰

Melyssa in her own words:

What do you love about CarmelBarre?

I love that Carmel Barre is fun (I can dance), there are a variety of classes and times. All of the teachers are incredible, and bring their own unique essence to each of the classes they teach. But what I LOVE and appreciate most is that I can come to class and be my authentic real self and I feel completely comfortable in the environment. There is a really strong sense of community within the Carem Barre Community. As I observe the classes I can see that all the women no matter age are giving themselves the gift of good health. And that makes me really happy.

What are the positive changes you see in your body?

“My overall core has become stronger. I have definitely noticed this when I hike and run. A few weeks ago I ran a half marathon that was nine miles uphill and four downhill and my calves and thighs were so strong. Must've been all of those calf raises in class! :) I have also noticed that my body overall is more toned.”

What is your favorite class (or time) to take at CarmelBarre?

I absolutely love them all but bouncing is soooooo much fun!!
Harmony- I love the feminine energy you bring to your classes. I especially love the tones of ballet movements you incorporate in classes.
Arianne- I love the lioness energy that you bring. I leave your class feeling like I am the queen of my thighs and butt! I appreciate the level of focus you bring to class!
Noa- I love observing you cultivate confidence in your teaching skills. You are a perfect reflection of being both a teacher and a student. I appreciate the variety of thigh exercises you teach.
Amanda- I love the peaceful harmonious energy you radiate in class. I especially love when you have the class take a few moments to connect with their heart. It is so powerful. And my body appreciates the extra cardio you incorporate
Stacey- I love your excitable energy you radiate out into class. It is very inspiring. I feel like an energizer bunny. And I so appreciate your music playlists!
Kali- I love the excitement and joy you radiate in class. I appreciate the focus and detail you embody when you are teaching.

What is your favorite exercise to do?

I love them ALL except clamshells.🤪
